πŸ“… Next Meetup

Wednesday 27th August
6:30p - 8:30p
Afterword Tavern

THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY!Scroll to bottom to see the September books.I'm so excited to go back to Afterword Tavern as they have some of the best drinks, chill vibes, and lots of books to choose from. It's a book lovers dream to join a cocktail bar and bookstore!
This needs to be capped at 20 people due to the space limitations and bar minimums.
Please RSVP ONLY if you have paid the rental fee so I can have an accurate headcount. I will be checking this periodically as I really need this to be as accurate as possible.
Also if we don't meet the bar minimum, which depends on the number of attendees, I will be having to cover any difference and I don't want to be left with that coming out of my pocket. So please, only RSVP if you're for sure going and please note if you cannot go after you RSVP and pay the fee you are responsible to find someone to take your spot or lose the fee. Thanks for understanding!
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
🎟️ Please Venmo $10 to @Jessica-McMullen-12

Join our mailing list for updates about the club. We won't spam you. It will just be announcements or changes on meetups, locations, or books.

We meet at a different spot each month. You can read one or both of the books. It is a fun, safe event where you get to know other book lovers in KC.At some point, we break into two groups to discuss either book.

Jessica:
"I'm excited for us to try another local brewery! Vine Street Brewery is in the 18th & Vine District and they pride themselves in being Missouri's first Black-coated brewery.
The space is so unique and their beer list is fun.
They also offer wine, cider, and n/a options.
They allow outside good but will also have 3 Halves BBQ on site that day.
Heads up they will have music in the patio from 3-6pm but we will be inside in the Groove Room.
There is no fee for this but as always please consider supporting this local business by purchasing a drink or two or whatever they may have available to you.
See you all soon!!!"
